Getting Back Into The Workout Scene.

I havn’t been updating my workout progress for a while now as you can see, but will be helping to start a brand new workout blog where i will hopefully be able to contribute some quality knowledge about fitness, nutrition, working out, etc.

I took my measurements yesterday & i’m seeing progress so I’m very pleased. for the second consecutive week i’ve decreased my bf % and I’m now down to 15.46% from 19.8% a little more than a month ago. Although i’m not making the type of progress that I had hoped for (prolly will ever be satisfied with my progress) i know that slow motion is better than no motion. I’m giving myself another month to see drastic changes. My ultimate goal is to add 10 pounds of muscle, but first i need to get my bf down to 10%. once again, i’m increasing my cardio to 45 mins this week and paying more attention to my diet.

I’ve made it! My body is aching from really pushing myself, but now it’s REST time!!!! I think that as good as my workouts have been lately, my attitude is what has actually improved the most. I’m loving life, the wife, and the idea of being a new daddy in a few months.

I Had a great workout after work today. Only problem is that I took my measurements tonight, and I’m kinda disappointed in the results. Still weighing the same but my body fat % increased. . .damn!!!! Chest measurements decreased. lower body showing promise. thighs got bigger and less fat on thighs & calves. biceps increasing in size too. still holding weight around mid-section. not all bad though, maybe with decrease in fat everywhere else, waist has to be next. . .gotta kill myself in the gym this week. Bodybuilding is tough work.
